We offer advice, support, information and a free
confidential counselling
service to persons experiencing difficulties related to
the use of alcohol,
substances or gambling, their families or their carers.
We offer a Womens' Service to enable women to access drug
and alcohol
services more easily.
Our catchment area embraces Newcastle and North Tyneside
Health Authority.
Referrals are accepted from a variety of sources including:
General Practitioners and Social Workers
The Probation Service and other specialist agencies
Self referrals
Opening times at Bridge View House:
Monday to Friday 9am _ 4pm.
CROSSROADS
A dry substance free social club, which allows people to
mix in a friendly
atmosphere. The service offers:
Organised activities either within the club or outside
Needle Exchange Facility
Opening times:
Tuesday to Friday: 6pm - 9pm
Saturday and Sunday: 2pm - 9pm
Needle Exchange opening times:
Tuesday to Friday: 2pm - 5pm, 6pm - 9pm
Saturday and Sunday: 2pm - 9pm
