National Candida Society
The National Candida Society was set up as a voluntary
organisation by Dr. Christine Tomlinson, an ex-sufferer.
Christine personally financed the setting-up of the society
by reducing her work (and income) to part-time. Publicity
for the launch was provided by the Mail on Sunday's YOU
magazine.
To date, we have helped about 1600 people, and have established
50 support groups in the UK. We also have several regional
organisers who act as focal points for area activities.
Our quarterly newsletter, the Candida Digest, always carries
the latest contact information for support groups and regional
organisers.
