The National Association for
Colitis and Crohn's Disease (NACC)
Objectives
The National Association for Colitis and Crohn’s
Disease (NACC) is a registered charity providing support
and information for patients and families living with these
conditions.
The Association was founded in 1979 and now has over 29,000
members and 70 area groups throughout the United Kingdom.
Since 1984 NACC members have raised over £2.5 million
into the causes and research of Inflammatory Bowel Disease.
Membership is open to patients, relatives, health professionals
and to anyone interested in the activities of the Association.
Activities
Annual grants to researchers; individual welfare funds;
NACC-in-Contact listening service; booklets; quarterly newsletters,
publicity and fundraising. Area, local and national group
meetings.
