La Leche League
La Leche League is the world's largest source of breastfeeding
information and is an international organisation. La Leche
League Great Britain (LLLGB) has been established in Britain
since 1971. A La Leche League leader is a mother who has
breastfed and who is trained to help other mothers do so,
by telephone and in person. Local groups hold regular discussion
meetings on various aspects of breastfeeding. LLLGB is a
registered charity and has leaflets and books which provide
breastfeeding and parenting information.
