CHECK YOUR TOOTHPASTE!
Ten patients who suffered from recurrent aphthous ulcers
were given two different toothpastes: one contained sodium
lauryl sulphate (SLS), a common detergent, the other did
not. After 3 months the subjects using the non-SLS toothpaste
had 64% fewer ulcers than those using the toothpaste containing
it.
