Greenfiles
GREENFILES is a quarterly newsletter of research abstracts compiled by Brenda Cooke and Pat Jones for herbalists and other complementary practitioners who want to keep up with new developments in research and alternative/complementary medicine.
Abstracts which have involved animal experiments are avoided wherever possible and we encourage humane and more appropriate alternatives.
Unless there is a comment from us, we do not necessarily agree with the views or conclusions expressed in research abstracts published.
The abstracts are taken from over 25 quality journals to which we subscribe and from the systematic scanning of many other journals, magazines and newspapers.
An index of titles, cross-referenced with keywords, appears at the back of each issue. Abstracts are referenced by the year, issue number, and page number, e.g. 1995;2;20. Each index is copied to an annual index. A cumulative index is also available annually on disk, in MS Works or text format.
Most research articles may be obtained by application to Greenfiles (for journals taken) or to the British Library, Medical Information Centre, Boston Spa, Wetherby, West Yorkshire LS23 7BQ, UK.
