Taking the Blues out of Bruising
If you are a sporty type you may have had more than your
fair share of bruises. We have all heard of the beefsteak
for taking the swelling out of a black eye but there are
better ways of reducing those shiners.
The pineapple enzyme bromelain has long been known to reduce
bruising. It can be purchased in capsule form; and taken
2-3 times per day, promotes healing of damaged tissue. Note
however, some people are allergic to bromelain – if
you experience itching, stop taking the enzyme straight
away.
Arnica Montana, a homeopathic remedy is equally as affective.
Again find it at most good health stores. Dissolving the
tablets under your tongue helps your body to recover much
faster from any physical trauma.
