Boosting The Little Chaps

At the end of the day, fellow men, you have to admit most of us would be devastated if anyone said our sperm were not up to the job.

Well a few nutritional tips might give those tiny tadpoley chaps a well-deserved boost.

  1. Keep your alcohol intake within advised limits- alcohol in large quantities destroys or damages sperm.
  2. Give up smoking – cigarette smoke is laden with oxidants which harm our little friends.
  3. Feed up on antioxidants – antioxidants such as vitamin C and selenium mop up those dangerous oxidants which cripple sperm counts. Foods packed with antioxidants include greens, citrus fruits, tomatoes, nuts, cereals and fish.
  4. Add zest with zinc – levels of zinc have been shown to be directly related to sperm count. Sperm require zinc for normal development and function. Good sources of zinc are eggs, greens, nuts, seafood, whole grains and seeds.
