Eggs Now More Than They’re Cracked up To Be

It seems that eggs are far more than they might seem. Not only are previous fat warnings now proved to be unfounded but evidence now shows that certain egg types are in fact health promoters.

Not only do eggs contain an broad range of important nutrients, some contain those essential fats, the omega-3 fatty acids. The eggs are laid by hens kept in free-range environments and fed with natural foodstuffs rich in essential fats.

The eggs are seen as a major breakthrough in the fight against heart disease. Omega-3 fatty acids are well known to help reduce blood cholesterol and blood pressure levels.

An added bonus is that the omega-3 eggs have less calories than standard eggs.

Expect to see the new eggs in most supermarkets near you – look for the “omega-3 enriched” label on the carton.
